Sarah Hubbard has been quilting for a little over 15 years. She is a life long resident of the Athens Community and is the Executive Director of Wild Intelligence. Why I do this:
I make art because it helps me better understand the world and myself. Working predominately with fiber gives me a sense of texture that is much like the rich earth of colors and textures - each fabric is different, each piece is different, and when brought together they create something unique and beautiful and always evolving.
